Tips to Have a Memorable Honeymoon
You might be very excited for your honeymoon but, in fact, planning your honeymoon can be as challenging as planning a wedding itself. Just like a wedding event, there are many places that you can choose from. Unless somebody has given you an all-expense trip to your choice of destination, you’ll surely be paying your own trip.
So before you book your honeymoon, consider these things first.
First, the weather. What type of climate you love- cold, mild, or hot? Determining the best kind of weather that you two find romantic can easily narrow down your choices. So it’s best that you check the time of year and the climate of the place that you’re planning to go.
Second, your budget. As previously mentioned, you’ll be spending quite a big amount of money for your honeymoon trip if nobody will pay it for you, your godparents or parents, for instance. How much you’re willing to spend for it? If you’re on a budget, it’s ideal to stay closer to your home. For sure, there are many lovely places near your home.
Third, the distance. If you’re considering to go abroad or somewhere far-flung, make sure to consider the hours of travel that will be required to reach your destination. For instance, if you’re going to a country on the opposite side of the world, make sure to have a few days downtime after your wedding to get yourselves organized.
Fourth, think about your accommodation. Generally, hotels are quite expensive places to stay. Unless you have an unlimited budget, it actually pays to consider other alternative places for your honeymoon. There are actually several websites on the internet that offer inns, apartels, or resorts for very reasonable prices. And most of them are also located on beautiful spots or areas of the country.
